At 18:18 on May 31, a Dongfeng diesel locomotive "dressed in red and flowers" slowly entered the Xinya Quantu Logistics railway dedicated line, successfully completing the locomotive rolling. This marks that the railway dedicated line project has met the conditions for operation, taking a key step towards the full completion of the dedicated line project.
The railway dedicated line has the advantage of all-weather uninterrupted balanced transportation, which can effectively solve the problem of insufficient road transport capacity, greatly reduce transportation costs, and improve environmental pollution. The project covers an area of about 100 acres and has the function of loading and unloading entire trains, with a transportation capacity of 1.4 million tons per year.
The Xinya Quantu Logistics railway dedicated line connects to the 23# switch of the Qiliying Station on the Jingguang Line. Since the project started on April 27, 2021, the project team has worked hard and fought bravely, overcoming various factors such as tight schedules, difficulties in relocation, and the COVID-19 pandemic. They have closely monitored the planned schedule, focused on safety and quality management goals, earnestly implemented construction production management requirements, scientifically arranged construction plans, reasonably allocated resources, meticulously organized construction, and actively responded to the complex and changing construction situation, making every effort to advance the construction progress and ensuring the smooth realization of various project milestones, successfully achieving locomotive rolling.
After the railway dedicated line is put into operation, it will help Xinya Paper Group reduce transportation costs and improve economic benefits during the company's development process, driving local economic development and playing a positive role.
