This report: On the morning of September 23, the autumn breeze was refreshing and the sun was shining brightly. In the courtyard of the group's machinery factory, 42 frontline maintenance workers from 15 production units across the company were divided into four groups to compete in three skills: drawing, grinding drill bits, and electric welding of pipe fittings. This is the second phase of the skill competition as part of the company's new initiative to promote innovative work methods and enhance the overall quality of the maintenance workforce.
The quality of the maintenance workforce directly affects equipment operation; the condition of equipment operation determines cost control and product quality. Therefore, improving the overall level and individual skills of maintenance workers is the foundation and guarantee for the development and growth of the enterprise.
Entering September, the skilled worker practical operation group selected 42 key personnel from 15 production units across the company, utilizing evenings for professional theoretical training. After the training, a theoretical exam was conducted, and today a practical skills competition took place.
After a morning of intense competition in three events, the judges carefully compared each entry, scoring anonymously, and combined the theoretical exam results to finally determine: Yang Xueliang from the Paper Mill No. 6, Xia Wubing from the Thermal Power Plant No. 1, and Li Xun from the Machinery Factory stood out from the 42 contestants, ranking first, second, and third respectively.
The conduct of this competition serves as an encouragement and motivation for all maintenance technicians in the company and will create a good atmosphere of competition and mutual assistance throughout the company.
