"May Day" Commendation Conference

On the afternoon of April 30, the New Asia Paper Group held a grand meeting to celebrate "May Day" and the commendation conference for advanced collectives and individuals in 2015. The conference recognized and rewarded 7 advanced collectives and 30 model employees that emerged in the company in 2015.
Chairman of the Group Company Song Jingzhi, General Manager Wang Yan, Executive Vice President Song Jingliang, Vice Presidents Zhao Rongxi, Wang Xiangwu, Hu Fengliang, Wang Shaoguang, Li Xinfang, Wang Yugong, Zhang Shibin, and Li Guofeng were seated on the rostrum. About 1,000 leaders above the deputy factory level from various units and departments of the company, as well as off-duty employees, attended the conference.
The conference was hosted by Vice President Hu Fengliang.
Vice President Zhao Rongxi read the company's "Decision on Commending Advanced Collectives and Model Individuals for 2015." He called on all employees to learn from the 7 advanced collectives such as Paper Mill No. 1 and Thermal Power Plant No. 2, as well as the 30 model employees like Fu Jiankang, Liu Xian, and Li Gang, who bravely took on heavy responsibilities, faced difficulties head-on, and demonstrated a spirit of dedication without regard for personal gains and losses; to learn from their liberated thinking, their sense of responsibility and commitment to actively engage in the company's development; to learn from their meticulousness, seriousness, and high sense of responsibility in their work; and to learn from their proactive and innovative spirit in continuously improving work capabilities and management levels.
Li Yunjie, the director of Paper Mill No. 1, spoke on behalf of the advanced collectives. He explained through his personal experiences and work insights that any unit or team can achieve good results as long as they unite sincerely, apply self-pressure, innovate, and never be satisfied. Li Gang, the electrical class leader of the paper machine section at the white cardboard factory, Li Yongpeng, the electrical section chief of Thermal Power Plant No. 2, and Liu Xian, a welding operator at the machinery factory, respectively spoke on behalf of outstanding individuals, model workers, and skilled role models.
Chairman of the company Song Jingzhi delivered an important speech at the meeting, providing a comprehensive summary and review of the work in 2015, and making specific arrangements and deployments for this year's work. He pointed out that in the past year, the company worked together to withstand the dual pressures from fierce market competition and the broader economic environment. People were eager to progress and change, and after enduring hardships, we have come to today. We gritted our teeth and worked hard, with a fearless heroic spirit, curbing the downward trend of operational losses and achieving the expected loss reduction goals, thus attaining a phased victory in the company's operational strategy. We optimized the structure of factory-level cadres, stabilized the workforce, and improved product quality, allowing the company to stand firm in fierce competition. The implementation of these measures greatly motivated the work enthusiasm and initiative of factory-level management personnel. In terms of sales, the company carefully controlled the macro environment, attentively adjusted the micro environment, and fully stimulated and mobilized the work enthusiasm of all marketing personnel. We established an image of being efficient and providing thoughtful service in market marketing. With steady improvements in product quality and continuous increases in sales volume, we focused on developing new customers while stabilizing old ones, leading to a gradually improving production and sales situation. The financial data at the end of 2015 showed that the company's annual production and sales rate reached 104.7%, reducing inventory by 16,487 tons. The operational situation is significantly better than in previous years. These achievements were made under extremely severe and deteriorating objective conditions, relying on our subjective efforts and struggles, making them even more hard-won. It fully demonstrates that our New Asia Group has a management team that is not afraid of difficulties, works tirelessly, is resilient and steadfast, and perseveres; has a group of advanced individuals who are dedicated to their work, selflessly contribute, unite and strive together, and are brave in exploration; and has a workforce that is hardworking, practical, and willing to sweat and toil without regrets or complaints. As employees of New Asia Group, we are qualified and entitled to feel proud and honored about these achievements!
Regarding the work in 2016, General Manager Song said: 2016 is a year of great turnaround, innovation, and leap for New Asia Group. We have broken through the darkness before dawn and entered a spring full of flowers. As long as we assess the situation, make prudent decisions, practice our internal skills, strive for progress, start well, and take good steps, as long as we fully optimize the management structure, ensure the best personnel status, maintain good equipment operation, and stabilize product quality, I believe we will seize opportunities and rise to the occasion with first-class management levels, first-class spirit, and first-class work performance, truly making our enterprise bigger and stronger, and taking on a significant role in the Henan paper industry! We will definitely write a more glorious chapter in the development history of New Asia Group.
