This report (correspondent Wang Weimin) aims to enhance employees' fire safety awareness and improve their emergency response capabilities. The environmental protection company conducted fire safety training for the cadres and employees of three teams from August 12 to 13.
The training was conducted by production plant manager Zhao Yanfeng and safety officer Li Rudong. Production plant manager Zhao Yanfeng explained fire safety knowledge in conjunction with actual production. He discussed the types, characteristics, and performance of fire-fighting equipment, as well as the main Applications of carbon dioxide extinguishers, foam extinguishers, and dry powder extinguishers. Foam extinguishers are mainly used to extinguish oil fires, while dry powder extinguishers are primarily used for electrical fires. Safety officer Li Rudong explained the usage methods and precautions for dry powder extinguishers, fire hydrants, and fire hoses to the cadres and employees, and led them in practical operations to ensure that every employee can proficiently master the use of fire-fighting equipment.
Safety production requires prevention before it happens, and fire safety responsibilities are as heavy as Mount Tai. Through drills, employees' fire safety awareness is effectively improved, enhancing their self-rescue and escape abilities. This also allows for the inspection of the operational status of fire safety facilities and equipment, while ensuring that all safety accident prevention work is carried out.
