At 15:30 on October 19, the high-strength corrugated paper pulping production line of Paper Mill No. 2 officially started operation.
Two paper grabbing machines pushed bundles of waste paper onto a long conveyor belt, slowly entering the drum pulper. Amid the roar of the machines, each process ran sequentially, and the startup was successful on the first try. Company Vice President Zhao Rongxi, Wang Xiangwu, Wang Shaoguang, Quality Control Department Head Zhang Wei, Safety Management Department Head Zhao Fajie, Production Management Deputy Director Lü Gangyi, and other company leaders and technical personnel closely monitored every link in the operation process, continuously patrolling, inspecting, communicating with each other, and providing guidance, explanations, and standardization for the questions raised by personnel at various positions on site... All procedures were orderly and operated safely as planned.
In April of this year, the company decided to transform the idle 3520 high-speed cultural paper machine at Mill No. 2 and build a new waste paper pulping line to produce high-strength, low basis weight quality corrugated base paper that is marketable. From decision-making, evaluation, and demonstration to the operation debugging at the end of September, the company mobilized engineering and technical personnel from various aspects to fully invest in the installation configuration of the 3520 equipment and personnel combination, which is now fully in place, successfully tested, and officially put into production, injecting new vitality into the New Asia industry.
